Orchid puts a spotlight on the background noise of life and crystalizes it in musical form. We used bits of recorded sound that took place outside the studio within each song on this project to provide an overarching texture and atmosphere laced with meaning. As these sounds whirl by, some familiar some ambiguous, we hope the listener reflects on the fabric of moments that make up their own life.
